Hiyah!!!

I can't get enough of this shoe...some viral marketing posters of Kobe doing his best Bruce Lee imitation for the Nike Zoom Kobe V "Bruce Lee" drop this weekend. I am sure Lebron exceeds him as an actor, but these movie posters mimicking "Enter The Dragon" & "Game Of Death" are good stuff!

And more pics of the shoes...yummy!

I know we are not at the All Star Break yet, but some new Lebron info (well, to me, at least) regarding Lebron's playoff shoe. Watch for the Nike Lebron 7 P.S. to drop in April or May. Bron Bron has always rocked a different model for the playoffs (20.5.5, Zoom Soldiers 1-3), but it appears he will wear an alternate VII model for the playoffs. Maybe he prefers Zoom Air to Max Air after all!

Here are pics of the re-tooled version, per my homey Greg at NikeLebron.net.

P.S....would that mean "Post Season"? Well, at least the Cavs have the best record in the NBA and they should be smooth sailing to a playoff berth. There is also one Playoff Pack edition (POP) not pictured:

NIKE AIR MAX LEBRON VII P.S. (POP)
WHITE/SPORT RED/BLK

RELEASE DATE: 4/1-6/30

Notice the $5 mark-up? There is also a Summit Lake Hornets (blk/purple/teal) colorway slated with no info:

Speaking of SLH colorways, peep these sample LBJ 7 Low SLH samples that hit eBay recently...

Not too shabby. I personally liked the LBJ 6 Lows...

...so its good to see the LBJ 7 Low getting some decent colorways. The same eBay seller had these NYC ones for sale. These also hit Nike outlets last week; of course, someone I know beat me to them (damn you Frank!)

Nike cleverly put "I LOVE NY" on the heel...

...and a question mark using the "LBJ23" on the insole...

Good stuff. Also on the sample tip, pics surfaced of someone wearing Christmas LBJ 7 samples...

...clearly much better than what dropped. The public agrees -- NDC just marked down the released XMas edition to $108. Yikes...

HAGO!

Cool 'Cats...

This past Saturday, Lebron had the day off so he checked out one of the nation's best players (John Wall) and nation's best teams (Kentucky Wildcats) in Lexington...

The majority of the players were wearing the Kentucky PE model of his Nike Air Max Lebron VII...

Some detailed pics of the shoe, per SoleCollector.

So, we've seen the blue & red kicks the past couple week that the NBA All Stars will be rocking in Dallas ASG Weekend....now it's time to peep the AF1 High Supreme TZs & Highs associated with the event.

The ASG AF1 Supreme TZs drop this weekend and features a perforated upper & 2010 ASG logo on the heel tab. Expect them at select Nike Sportswear retailers on Saturday, February 6th. These will drop this Saturday at select Nike Sportswear spots.

The ASG AF1 High features a metallic silver upper with the 2010 ASG logo near the toe. This pair should release All-Star weekend at select Nike accounts.

Lastly, congrats to Kobe...

Mamba passes Jerry West as the Lakers' all-time leading top scorer, dropping 44 points on Memphis last night. Too bad the Lake Show lost the game 95-93 (Zach Randolph 22 pts/17 reb...Z-Bo is a beast!)

Ace In The Hole

Peep Mamba rocking his burgundy/silver/white "Ace" Kobe V PE at his alma mater Lower Merion HS. I'm gonna expect these to drop in the next couple months at an HOH near you. Pics from Kenlu/Sneakernews.

From Kobe's hometown to Lebron's hometown...

The Akron VII! My most anticipated VII this year (yes, more than the Dunkman). I loved the Akron VI out of all the VI colorways (see below)...

...and the ZS3 was my favorite colorway of the Zoom Soldier III...

...so I expect once I hold the Akron VII in my hand it will be my fav. Watch for them on the feet of the University of Akron Zips and to hit HOHs in March or April...

One PE you probably won't be attaining is this one...

Per the SoleCollector blog (sup Nick!), check out this Roger Federer Nike Air Trainer 1 PE. Simple, subtle and hot! Features the Swiss flag on the heel.

Also in trainer news, watch for this double pack to hit Niketowns and select retailers....

This double pack features a Bo Jackson "Auburn" inspired colorway and Albert Pujols PE colorway of the Nike Air Trainer 2010 SC. Pack will hit in February and be limited to 500 worldwide.

One more trainer to hit this year is a retro I can't believe they are re-releasing. The Nike Air Carnivore...

I still remember the original from the early 1990's. These things sat on shelves! Not sure MSRP of these, but the OGs went for like $140 and no one bought them. But I will say the details of this retro are on target. Props to Ming for the pics...

And some detailed pics from FootLocker Unlocked of one retro I am looking forward to...
The white/black/metallic silver Nike Air Pippen 1 Retro is dropping in May. Woo-hoo!

With how spot on the black retro was, I'm excited for the white pair...

Peace!
