All Day, Every Day

Even though he wasn't playing in last night's Super Bowl (NoLa!), Adrian Peterson is the NFL's best running back. Sure, you can argue Chris Johnson, but "All Day" is that dude.

LaDanian Tomlinson was that dude. After playing his last game as a Charger in their playoff loss, I expect to see LT in some new team colors next season.

Nike has released two new player edition Nike Air Trainer SC 2010s in their honor. These, along with a Brian Clay edition (decathlete) & Troy Polamalu, have hit select Nike shops this week. Props to TSG for the pics.

The Clays might pop the most!

The Polamalu look weak...supposedly they change color when your feet get hot...for real! LOL!

Release alert: In case you didn't spend enough money this past weekend for Bruce Lee Kobe Vs or Motorsports VIs, snag this PE Bo/Pujols pack. They dropped Super Bowl Sunday under everyone's noses...

$250 MSRP at Niketowns. 500 packs worldwide.

From the gridiron to the court....

Kobe sat on the sidelines for the first in forever this past Saturday in Portland with a sprained ankle. But Nike refuses to sit on any Nike Zoom Kobe V colorways. Check out pics of the USC Trojan PE that started circulating this past weekend...

Easily my most wanted ZK5...

They are very reminisce of last year's ZK4 USC HOH release...

After the Blackouts (shown Friday on CNI), the next general release to watch out for is the ZK5 "Inlines"...

The speckled midsole is a nice touch compared to last year's Inline model...

If you missed the drop of the ASG Lebron VII, you missed some bright *ss shoes. Here's a little more subtle release of the LBJ 7....the "Grey Pack"...

The pack also features models with orange, red and white accents. I think I like the blue the best...

Off to a manic Monday. Congrats, Who Dat nation!

Who Dat? Who Dat?

TGIF! Before we get started on kicks, its Super Bowl weekend, so I have to declare who I am rooting for. Yes, Peyton Manning is the goods. Yes, the Colts are favored and will probably win...but I'm pulling for NoLa!

Who Dat! (^ this jersey says "Kardashian" on the back...). Anywho (dat), onto the kicks -- I know we usually talk about Nikes on here, so let's flip the script to these crazy runners from Reebok...Called the ZigTech running shoe, it features a Shox-like "cardiogram" midsole/outsole. Kinda cool-lookin', right?
MJD of the Jags is pushing this shoe, as well some guidos from the Jersey Shore...

Word to Sneaker News for RBK info & pics. Now, are you ready for some serious heat from Asics? Peep these monochromatic Asics Gel Lyte IIIs...

These are a definite must with some denim. Features premium materials on a classic Asics model. You can pre-order either on CT/Crooked Tongues. Also available in black...

So, if you are a sneakerhead, tomorrow is a pretty eventful day...

Some Kobes not coming out tomorrow but to a store near you soon are the Blackout Nike Zoom Kobe V...

and the Kobe V takedown model "Make Sense" (with XDR outdoor soles & Flywire Tech)...

On Tuesday, we showed you the first glimpse of the Lebron VII PS (with Zoom Air! Yes!)...now here are some detailed pics...

^ clear sole FTW! Not too keen on the white/navy pair below...

Last but not least, one more Alpha release from Brand Jordan...

Yesterday, we showed you the Ray Allen Alpha HOH PE, now here's the Tinker Hatfield-inspired Alpha AJ1. It features a cream upper, black & orange accents/trims, black midsole & orange contrast stitching. Not sure Tinker picked the colors himself, but this shoe is hot...

Clear As Day

Are these clear boxes dope or what? No more taking pics of your kicks on your shoe boxes! Check out the Hupbox! Made of high-quallity, impact-resistant acrylics, the boxes fit most low-tops up to a sz 12. But at $40 a pop, you might want to consider keeping your cardboard. Peep www.hupbox.com for more. Word to Rich at KATC for the info+pics.

So, I saw these Rice Home/Away Nike Air Zoom Kobe V PEs yesterday. I'm not the biggest fan, but I'll probably change my mind once I see better pics...

...Rice (Team Kobe) plays CTK (Team Bron) on Sunday. I'll watch for pics come Monday...you know they'll be struttin' some PE heat...

Now -- are you ready? One, two...D Wade is coming for you...three, four....can't let him score...

That's the script from the new Dwyane Wade/Jordan Brand "Nightmares Never Sleep" commercial promoting the AJ 2010. Expect to see if in heavy rotation from now till All Star Weekend.

Lately I am sure you've been noticing the play of the Oklahoma City Thunder. If the season ended today, OKC would be in the playoffs as a 7th seed. The league's leading scorer is Kevin Durant at 27.7 a game...and now these ex-Sonics are getting their own player exclusive touches...

Durant and teammates Jeff Green, Nick Collison and Thabo Sefolosha have all been rocking the KD 2 Home PE recently, with Creamsicle-coloroed swoosh and light blue outsole. Just crispy!

Watch for more PE love for that squad in the coming months. I must say I am most excited for the All Star KD2 out of all the ASG kicks...

...and watch for these other KD2 colorways dropping soon...

So, my House of Hoops contact hit me up and told me they got in some Ray Allen PE AJ 1 Alphas. Initially, I got excited, expecting a white/green or black/green joint -- instead, I saw the pics...
...I was like, WTF!? But upon further review, I kinda like it. Is it brown? Is it grey? Dunno - but don't care. I dig em. If I grab a pair, I think I'm gonna gut the red laces.

One Jordan Brand shoe you will not see on my feet is this new Air Jordan Flight 9

Give it up already, JB. The Spizike, Six Rings, Sixty Plus, the Dub Zero - enough with the mashups! These Flight 9s take cues from the AJ 3 sole, AJ 4 netting & some other hints I refuse to find. Blah...

Lastly, quick peek at the Nike Air Force 1 Low and Nike Air Trainer 2010 SC from last weekend's Pro Bowl in Miami. Thanks to Sneakernews for the pics...

Both are in Miami Vice colorways and feature the "La Familia" taggings. Dope shoes, IMHO...

HAGO!
