Last week, I took a trip to Munich to check out the local sneaker game, and, I must admit, I was really pleased with what I found along the journey. First off, Munich is reigned by kickz.com, period. Altogether, they are running four seperate stores in Munich! Each store is set up differently to serve all the different appetites.

Great Store, because with a few exceptions (G-Shock watches and BBall Gear), it only features sneakers, with the largest shoe wall I've seen in person. Amongst all those kicks are the whole flock of the new Hyperdunk 2010 or the Kobe V (they sell the Kobe V "Dark Knight" exclusively in Germany), but also lots of AF1s, Dunks, and - most important to me - the Air Jordan IX Retro Citrus, which they also sell exclusively in Germany....officially copped (see collection). Different theme, more about streetwear and above all, fitted hats. One of the largest New Era selection I've ever seen. Other than that, music was way too loud and some weird a** folks were runnin around... Rating: 2 out of 5

a small shop for all the skaters. skateboard vids running on the screen and the overall feeling is pretty laid back. Unfortunately, they don't have an SB account.Rating: 3 out of 5

right next door, my favorite store of all is located. This is more of a Sneaker Boutique, with select kicks and apparel (Nike, The Hundreds,...). A nice feature: the shelves on which the sneakers are arranged digitally display the available sizes and the prize of the shoe!!! Very Nice!! Rating: 5 out of 5
