The King and His Crown (Again)
Prior to the Cavs /Celtics Game 2 at the Q last night, Lebron collected his second MVP trophy. He debuted the Nike Air Max Lebron VII MVP edition in the losing effort...
Despite earlier photos showing that we might be get a PS 7 instead of an AML 7, the MVP edition features a quilted upper instead of Flywire used in most AMLs. The inset logo on the inner heel mimicks Nike t-shirts celebrating his second MVP crown...
Here's the accompanying poster; "One For All" campaign by Nike, meaning Lebron didn't earn this by himself & that all his teammates earned a piece of his MVP trophy (yeah right, LOL)...
...and giveaway t-shirts at the game last night...
Thanks to Matt for the pics.
Although we just saw this shoe in 2008 as part of the IX/XIV CDP pack, Foot Locker announced today that we will see the OG colorway of the AJ IX (white/black/varsity red) again August 7th...
So this summer we will see the Powder IX retro, BIN 23 IX, Black/Citrus IX, White/Citrus IX, Charcoal IX and these. As much as I love this Air Jordan model, is this AJ IX overload?
Speaking of OD...
...yet more Attack Packs coming, according to Sneaker News. Two retro Nike models are getting the A.P. treatment: the Nike Air Trainer 3s...
and the Nike Air Max Uptempo...
I can't even count anymore how many A.P. models there are. I picked up the Tailwind 2010s & found the quality and packaging to be quite nice.
I don't see these things flying off the shelves, so hopefully many of them can be had on the cheap at outlets/clearance racks!
